I understand a little... what im questioning is you seem to be blaming the motorcyclist solely for the accident yet you can see the vehicle driver seems to accelerate and move across 3 lanes in some attempt to stop the motorcyclist from overtaking.

Slammed the breaks on too. But, can’t see what’s happened up front and the inside lanes were slowing down. I would go 50/50 blame on this based on what can be seen.

Well, not only did he not use the front brake but he didn't use the rear one either. The brake pedal is on the right side. I think the smoke from the rear tire is from the back end sliding as he tried to steer his way out of trouble. This was completely avoidable......so I blame the bike kid. They both go across to the right hand lane .....my guess is that the other two lanes had slower traffic in them....so there may well have been a slow moving event up ahead.

Yup. If both were watching further down the road than 8” they would not have needed to break hard. Both at fault.

Thinking update......Those are American road signs which means this video is done as a mirror image, as if looking in the rear view mirror. Then his dragging foot is his left foot and his right foot, the breaking foot, is still up on the peg and probably applying the rear brake and locking the rear wheel.

That's why I don't ride motorcycles. Well actually this guy is just a retard. But one time I sat on the back of my cousin's motorcycle and we sped down the highway... fucking terrifying. Not worth it.
