On classic MS I think it was anyone who had taken an action in the last 30 minutes. On MZ we've switched between 30 and 60, when I re-wrote it I think I put 55 as a placeholder.
In Stew's case he really has been doing something the whole time. As for what I can't say... perhaps a feeding frenzy.

Ive been thinking that sometimes the page looks too busy. There's so many buttons and colors and shit. But haven't really made up my mind on if something needs to go.
Sometimes I look at the recent comments page and its more blue link then white text (screenshot in discord because f imgur).
Maybe the white text itself could be 20% larger. Or shrink the buttons and links 20%, or both. Dunno.

Yeah, page is a little busy but I think some of that is your mod tools, and other stuff that people would miss. For example I already really like the inline reply button on every comment. Seems pretty intuitive.
I'm trying to combine information density with readability. MS has us beat in that there's 2x as many comments per page, without scrolling, and it's all perfectly readable. But I don't know how much, if any, mobile traffic we have to care about. Not a consideration in 2009.

We got a couple of braniacs on here. Lets see if the muchozucko population is smarter then AI chat.
I had a problem with my PC for a few days now where the sound gets all static and roboty, and the sound goes out of synch with my TV.
It gets worse and worse over time then becomes normal when I restart the computer.
I cleaned out my GPU, which is connected straight to my tv via HDMI. I disabled some light software thingy that makes the light in my PC blink according to the sound (never asked for this), that wasn't it. I tried to update all the nvidia drivers and audio drivers, changing the audio driver (which made my screen go permablack).
What could it be?

you might have an oversampling or bit rate mismatch between something in the audio setup from the actual audio software, and windblows in-built audio settings.. its not a high percentage chance however

so if somehow your sampling rate inside the audio software is set to 48khz.. and your windows is set to 44.1khz, it could cause some nasty digital hash.. but the thing is, the sound would be constant from the moment you played anything with sound

its going to be in sound properties..
right click on volume level on task bar.. > go to sound settings > scroll down to advanced > select 'more sound settings' > in the popout box, in the playback tab, find your sound device ( i have multiple ) > select it and click the properties button > select the advanced tab and youll see the format that windows has selected..Now it could be that if there is a mismatch, somthing has 'exclusive mode' control and it fuckin up your shit.
these instructions are based on windows 11 btw
