I used to have a beard, but it made me look old. Now I have age which makes me look old.

I see nothing wrong with that spelling. Another true story.....I saw a sign in a store window that read, "Worship with us". Since it was an office supplies store I thought it rather odd. When I came back by the next day it had morphed into "We ship UPS. Dyslexia.....a constant source of entertainment.
It's a spoonerism. True story......as a kid, I had a neighbor whose name was Kitty Shook. Spoonerize that.
