Because cuckford, I am using a jquery plugin so that timestamps update on their own even after you load the page. (your "just now" will turn into "a minute ago" if I let it sit)

THIS requires a timestamp to be provided in a specific format. Since JS uses a local timestamp, I have to specify in the script that the server time is UTC - 7, or 6 or 8 or whatever the fuck depending on Daylight Savings Time.

It's harder than it sounds to just set "server time" as the default and display the same thing to everyone.

Try a hard refresh I guess? I will probably re-work time stamps sometime soon.

I tried to normalize timestamps on comments client-side. Some peoples' browsers misinterpret the code juju. Barret is even worse, he'll refresh and the comments will be from 40 minutes in the future.
