R.I.P. Makodragon - Tribute to James The Lionheart
Its with a heavy heart, I regret to inform everyone, that Makodragon is no longer with us. No this is not a joke.
About 3 years ago, Makodragon, my friend, whom I had been talking to for a decade outside of the site, had been missing for quite some time. Not for the first time either but this time felt different. Fearing the worst, I contacted one of his RL friends. As I already knew in my gut, he told me that MD had passed away, due to complications from being British.
Some of you might have figured this out already. He would have been with us from day 1 of the relaunch if he had the chance. I know he missed this place and enjoyed his time with us on MuchoSucko and Zucko. He said that this place kept him going when he was struggling. He was proud of this place and his role here. Even getting angry at you guys and sperging out was something he did with pride.
I hope everyone can forgive that I don't wanna be too open about his personal life and events that lead to his death, I feel like its not respectful to him, even though he'd be the first to spill everything without a second thought. Because that's the sort of guy he was. Always wearing his heart on his sleeve. Even when he was trying to be coy, you could see right through him.
Rest in Peace my friend. For all the laughs, for helping me be creative, for being a cool guy, for teaching me bad English words. I miss you all the time still. Let the spliff rip.
