I haven't used JuicyAds as a Publisher in forever. There is no financial impact... they just don't want me to advertise MZ on their network.
Barret
Would love to see the faces of these guys in the office, and they browse through the website to determine if its family friendly enough. Also find it funny that the other stuff was ok.
Barret
When I get home, i wanna start following him into whatever games he plays, so I can troll him until he finally quits gaming and comes back to us.

Speaking of MZ and stuff, how does search work nowadays? Is there a limit to how many hits you can see? is it indexed? Also, just realized how practical it would be if the recent comments automatically updated when you have the tab open, like chat does.
Could be one of the pro features?
Barret
If i could have recent comments open in a tab, and it gave me a notification like in chat, and the notification goes away when i re-open the tab, complete with the new comment being there, so i can click and open it in a new tab. That would be the shiznaz.
Bono
1) Search takes whatever string you enter and looks for it in the Title or Tags of submissions. It will return up to 100 results. I didn't index it or put pages because why the fuck does anyone need 100+ of anything. You can already sort it by votes or upload date. You'll find what you need.2) I could have the "recent comments" section update automatically, like every 30 seconds or something. Pro Feature because I'm a jew now apparently. Good idea, my goyim.
3) The new comment appearing on its own, on the page you've already loaded ... it could be done but it's probably a nightmare to load just that comment without reloading the entire comment chain.
Barret
1) That sounds like it will lead to a lot of reposts in the future as the site grows, still don't have to be fixed anytime soon though.B. Cooliusbruiser.
III- I don't mean on the page I loaded, that sounds like too much, I mean if i have the recent comments page open, it could just put the latest comment on top, kinda like chat works? Or somethin
Bono
OhThen yeah an auto-updating Recent Comments is easy. I wanted that since day 1. A kind of way to monitor MZ if you aren't in the mood to jump from sub to sub.
CartersBird
If RC updates itself, what happens when you click on a RC link to a page where you already are, but the comment section doesn't refresh itself either... so you go nowhere.
CartersBird
Like... go to the RC sidebar. Click on a comment from this thread. It doesn't reload the page, it just snaps you down.
CartersBird
What if the RC sidebar updates without refreshing, but this comment section doesn't? You have a link to nowhere.
Barret
My whole reasoning behind this is that its less work then updating the front page all the time to look for new comment (we don't get new comment notifications unless we are on that particular sub), and that it might be an easier load for MZ this way? Maybe not... I'm not up to Bono's nerd levels yet.
Barret
Oh right, we are talking about when you open the seperate RC page, by clicking Recent Comments. I dunno if he can/would do that on the sidebar.
Barret
Also, important sidenote, everything was my idea and/or results of me nagging at Bono, I do all3the hard work basically.
Barret
Another handy thing.https://muchozucko.com/changelog
Also my idea that I had to nag about!

April 21, 2018+ Fixed an issue where if you're a retarded idiot from England who uses Internet Explorer, embedded images would load improperly.
Barret
Bono's yakhumor really has a chance to shine in that changelog, laugh a little every time.
Barret
I like to check recent comments because it doesn't cut out comments like the sidebar does, makes it easier to catch up without missing anything.

March 2, 2018+ Barret made a gif of some guy shitting in my open and willing mouth, as an effort to get me to index comments on profile pages.
March 3, 2018
+ Indexed comments on profile pages.

This is the first time I've gone back and read all those logs... we've come a long way
