Thats not quite true, i wouldnt want thj to submit each and every one of thise jurassic beetle images, so give the option to squeeze tjem all into one submission.

So you are saying it would be complicated to make image galleries? So I guess making image and .gif galleries would be even harder. Really makes me appreciate the work ol catalin from h6, and the effort he put into upload options for users.

Well on its own, a gallery isn't exactly groundbreaking. The hard part is fitting into the current submission system, which was modeled after old mucho.
The fact that Browser Games are so easy to add is kind of a happy accident.
I could figure out multi-image uploads.... just not a lot of payoff in my eyes.

We used to allow gifs under the image upload action. But they tend to be bloated and hard to process.
Imagine all the most popular places you find gifs these days. Imgur, Reddit, Giphy, Gfycat....
What you're really looking at is a slick webm or mp4 video. They load much faster than a conventional gif.
